This is the final contents page picture, I am very happy with my contents page. It shows clearly all the page numbers, what pages they are, and what category the pages are in. It has a subscription to the magazine preview and the bottom of the page with the magazine front cover on it, the title Contents is very clear, and the colours used a repetitive but fit the theme of the magazine.

Subscription to the Magazine Picture

This features on my contents page, it is advertisement for subscription to the magazine, so the magazine gets sent to your house, it features the front cover of the magazine. This is a good technique as many other magazines feature the front cover on the contents page.

The background I have used is a yellow colour again to fit in with the title of the magazine which is (Electronic). The numbers are bold and clear for the reader. The numbers are in bold to stand out and make sure people know what pages things are on.

In my contents page I used this style of page numbering, it shows clearly what number the page is on. Where to go to find the page that you want. It is bold and stands out to make it easier for the reader, and is in order of the category.

This is the logo I used for my Quiz category on my contents page in my music magazine. The use of yellow is now a reacurring thing to fit in with the title of the magazine.

I have decide to use the same font as i did for the front cover, for my contents page. I wanted to show repition in my work, and I believe this font fits well with a school magazine because it looks like a hand written font, and you connect this to school.

This is the contents page title I am going to be using for it. I choose to use yellow for this as it fitted in well with the colour of the page I was thinking of using. It also fits in well with the title of the magazine (Electronic) and the type of music my magazine is writing about.

I have decide to use this picture as my final front cover picture, it is an original picture, which I set up and have taken. It is the type of picture I wanted for the front cover as there is alot of room around him to had text and pictures. It is a good long shot capture of him, I am very happy with my front cover picture.

Final Magazine Front Cover

This is going to be my finally finished front cover for my music magazine. Now you can see more clearly that the colours I have used stand out on the background as it is quite a dull greeny colour. The title of the magazine is vibrant and really does stand out on the page, which is what I wanted, and I am pleased it has worked well. The main picture fits in very well around all the fonts and pictures, and the clothing the person is wearing is eye catching. As he is wearing all black with a vibrant pink colour tie. Overall I am very happy with my final magazine front cover.

Colours Used For The Title Of The Magazine

As you have seen in previous bloggs, I have used this as my main title on my front cover, I have also chosen to use this colour. The colours fit in with the name of the magazine because its a similar type of colour you associate with electric. I again think this will stand out to readers, it will catch peoples eye, and will help to sell the magazine because of the colours used.

The first colour I tried out was a vibrant orange colour. I again decided to change the colour to yellow because the name electronic fits with the colour yellow because of electricity, and this is one of the main reasons why i have used yellow.

New Thing Added On The Front Cover

I have added this to my front cover, it tells the reader that the download charts are in the magazine. The colours I have chosen to use are eye catching again because the colours will stand out on the page, and this is one of the first things the readers will look at it as soon as they pick up the magazine.

Magazine Logo Picture

This is my magazine logo picture, it is the symbol of my magazine. It fits in well with the title which is Electronic because it is a good use of picture as this connects to Electronic as it is the sign for lighting, which is electricity.

Fonts That Will Be On My Magazine

For my magazine front cover I'm using a variety of different fonts:


  As you can see from the picture I have used different fonts for the title (Electronic) to the fonts at the bottom of the page.

I have used fonts and colours that stand out, this of course makes it eye catching to the reader. They use bright colours like red and the font used is vibrant and easy to read makes it stand out. I have used these fonts ad colours to get the reader to pick the magazine up and buy it.

Planning

1. Club Music/Electro
    (Because its my favourite kind of music and there is not a magazine for this type of music)

2. Give information about new music, new downloads, and competitions where you can win prizes.
    (Just to give readers about information on new songs coming out and were to download them, and give chances for ordinary people to win competitions to see the favourite artists)

3. Young adults in their late teens and early twenty's.
    (This is my target audience because, this is the type of age that this music most appeals to)

4. Target Audience Profile:
AGE: 20
GENDER: Male
LOCATION: South East England
INCOME: Small income through job, maybe working in a clothes shop. Top Man, Bank Etc.
ETHNICITY: White British male.
INTERESTS: Football, Sport, Computer games, Partying etc.

5. I think that my magazine will appeal to this target audience the most because, this is the age were young adults can go out clubbing, and alot of young teens are into this kind of music so it will help them know if any new songs will come out. The main feature that will appeal most to the readers is letting them know if any new artists have bought out new songs, and how to download them,

6. 'Electronic' this title is very appropriate because it fits in with the kind of music the magazine is based on, and the title fits with the magazine.

7. My magazine will be published once every month, this is because it will allow more artists to release more songs, and will increase sales because people will want to buy it to know about the information in the magazine.

8. I think I would price my magazine at £2.50. This prize is not to expensive and it is not to cheap, i believe it is the right price for what the magazine offers.

9. There will not be a web edition of the magazine, because i would like to concentrate on the on the magazine, but there will be a website where there will be information on the magazine including:

• Release dates of the magazine
• Download links to music
